Research shows that women receive much better care in comprehensive breast centers that address the mind and spirit as well as the body. Vantage Radiology and Valley Medical Center are pleased to offer quality, comprehensive breast care services for women at The Breast Center.
The Breast Center offers state-of-the-art equipment and healthcare specialists working side-by-side to quickly diagnosis breast diseases and abnormalities. Using a team approach, the oncologist, radiologist, surgeon, and pathologist decide together what the best treatment plan for each patient will be. Services range from screening mammograms to breast cancer surgery and oncology treatment.
Valley Breast Center provides:
Screening and Diagnosis
Routine and diagnostic mammography; breast MRI and breast MRI biopsy; breast ultrasound; bone density; evaluations for women at-risk; prompt diagnosis and results reporting; and second opinion service.
Treatment and Recovery
On-site, immediate radiologist and surgeon availability; team consultation; a variety of treatment options; access to clinical trials; and complete recovery services.
Support Services
Nurse navigator to guide patients through the system; psycho-social and genetic counseling; and support groups.
The Breast Center uses the latest technology in the field, including the R2 ImageChecker—a computer-aided detection system that increases the accuracy of breast cancer screening by analyzing the mammographic images.
